This lovely runner rug was sourced in the area of Aït Bouguemez, High Atlas, Morocco. I selected it for the shop as I immediately loved how dynamic it is, while the composition is quite classic with its series of diamonds. I love that it also features more mysterious, embattled designs in the center part of the rug, and diagonal stripes that give so much rhythm to the rug. Colors are red, black, green, blue and yellow over a neutral wool undyed background. I think it's a very artistic rug overall!
The rug is made of wool and cotton threads and is a medium pile. It is quite thick and super soft and comfortable underfeet!
Approximate dimensions are 3.1x11.3feet (+4inches tassels) / 95x345cm (+10cm tassels).
The rug has not been cut and is in its original shape.
Please note that this small rug is real vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of wear which make it unique and charming. That said, it has been cleaned and is in great vintage condition!
