This beautiful vintage Beni Mguild rug is a great find! The main background color is a mix of terracotta and soft orange with intricate designs -mostly tiny diamonds- in cream, orange and navy blue. The pattern is a multiplied diamonds and the whole rug is quite regular in its composition. The color shades and the precision in the details make all the difference!
This handmade rug definitely is a unique piece of berber art!
The rug is made of wool 100% and is a low pile to flatweave. The colors are original and have not been artificially faded.
Approximate dimensions are 6.1x9.8feet / 186x298cm (+small tassels).
Please note that this rug is vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of wear, which makes it unique and charming. The rug has been nicely fixed and comes in great vintage condition, shows no stains or obvious fixes.
