This vintage moroccan rug was a love at first sight! It is so vibrant with its unusual combination of colors: dark red, yellow and aqua or turquoise. The series of unregular, repeated diamonds or lozenges is quite seen as a traditional design in berber rugs.
The rug is handmade 100%, made of wool on a cotton base and is a high pile. The texture is so fluffy the rug would be perfect as a bedside.
Approximate dimensions are 3.3 to 4.2x8.7feet / 100 to 130x265cm (no tassels).
Due to the handmade weaving work, the rug is not perfectly rectangle as you can see on the pictures attached. It has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
Please note that this rug is real vintage, meaning that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear. The rug shows no obvious fixes or stains, is all clean and in a great condition overall!
