Here is one of the beautiful Boujad rugs with abstract designs I fell in love with! The busy pattern is a re-interpretation of the traditional series of lozenges, here quite unstructured and with stripes, which gives a great rhythm to the composition. The main background color is a brick red with designs in blue, white and yellow.
The rug is all handmade and made of wool 100%. It is a low to medium pile.
Approximate dimensions are 6.7x9.9feet / 206x304cm (no tassels).
The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
Please note that this rug is vintage, meaning that it was made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear. That said, it is in excellent condition overall.
