I had this modern-style, original Mrirt rug made by weavers artisans in the area of Khenifra, Atlas Mountains, Morocco. Groups of women there still weave by hand on traditional, vertical looms to make these new rugs!
The design is quite simple, with a beige background and light brown lines in a minimalist grid pattern. This is a warm, calm and elegant rug that would look great in an office or a modern living room!
This rug is made of premium quality, extra soft wool 100%. Medium pile and quite thick.

Approximate dimensions are 8.4x11.2feet / 252x342cm (+tassels).
You may spot folding marks on the attached pictures -I received the rug in a rolled package I opened right before the shooting- but these will quickly go away with use.
This rug is newly-made, meaning that it will come to you all clean and in excellent condition! As it is handmade, it may show some irregularities but it really is in a great shape!
Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the texture and beautiful colors on this rug!
