This lovely runner rug, with colorful floating designs, is made of knotted cotton threads on a cotton base. Love the bright red background color, with berber designs all over it -one central diamond surrounded with floral designs and other mysterious figures- in orange, yellow, white, black, green... This tiny rug is quite a unique and artistic piece overall!
Approximate dimensions are 2.3x4.1feet / 70x125cm (+tiny tassels).
The rug was not cut and comes in its original shape. It is quite light so use of rugpads is recommended. Due to the handmade weaving work, the rug is not perfectly rectangle as you may see on the pictures attached. But I always have something for a weirdly shape, handmade rug!
This item is real vintage. It was made first for private use and then sold (not made directly for sell). It will come with light signs of wear, which make it unique and charming. That said it's in excellent condition, shows no stains or obvious fixes.
Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but the colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures so you see the beautiful work on this rug!
Cleaning before shipping included. Can be cleaned at home using washing machine, which makes it a pet/kid/kitchen friendly rug!
