Round Tamegroute decor with metal upholder
Round Tamegroute decor with metal upholder
These green ceramics are made in a village of potters called Tamegroute, South Morocco.
They are made out of white clay craftmen find in the area and work with to make beautiful, artistic pieces. The unregluar color comes from the glaze that includes a fractional amount of copper. After being cooked in the oven at super high temperature, it becomes green just like magic!
This item here is a very elegant, luminous decor made of a large, round, textured piece inspired by the sun in a light khaki color. It comes with a black, metal holder.
The diameter of the round piece is approximately 18.9inches / 48cm. Total height including pedestal is 30.7inches / 78cm. Total width is 19.6inches / 50cm. Rectangular foot is 5.1inches / 13cm wide.
The pottery is well hold as there is a small hole on the spine, where you insert that tiny tip on the metal holder.
This item is handmade 100%. It will come with light irregularities that make this item unique and special. Again the item is all handmade the traditional way and is in great condition overall!
Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate. Please take time to check all detailed pictures, so you can see the colors and texture of this item.
