This long runner rug is such a sweet piece! Probably made in the area of Boujad, Middle Atlas, Morocco, the rug shows a classic serie of 4 large diamonds surrounded with multiple, smaller designs (crosses and stars) in tiny "boxes". If you give the rug a close look you can spot many little hearts! The background of the rug is a bright orange with pink, black, beige, yellow, blue designs... Isn't it the perfect runner rug to bring some extra joy to your space?
The rug is handmade 100%. It is made of a mix of wool and cotton and is a low pile.
Approximate dimensions are 3.6x11.3feet / 110x345cm.
The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape.
Please note that this rug is real vintage, meaning that it has been made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear, which make it unique and charming. Some fixes were made on the borders. That said, the rug is in a great vintage condition!
