This real vintage rug is a classic yet very beautiful, traditional moroccan rug. Main color is a deep, bright red with black, indigo blue and cream designs all over it, like diamonds, flowers and berber crosses, typical from the Beni Mguild tribe.
The rug is a high quality wool 100% and a medium pile. I would not call it a plush rug but it is still soft, shows a great texture and is very comfortable underfeet. The colors are original and have not been artificially faded.
Approximate dimensions are 6.2x7feet (+8inches tassels) / 190x215cm (+10cm tassels). Due to the handmade weaving work the rug is not perfectly rectangle as you can see on the pictures attached. Another thing is that it has been cut in length and brand new tassels were added.
Again, this rug is real vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear. That said, it shows no obvious fixes or stains and is in great condition!
