Here is one very beautiful, unique vintage rug, probably from the Talsint tribe. The colors are so fresh, from a fuchsia to a warm purple with gray, white and emerald green designs, unregular lines with tiny diamonds and triangles. It shows very interesting variations in colors and a great artistic composition. A warm rug that would work both in eclectic, new bohemian or modern interiors if you ask me!
The rug is handmade 100%, made of sheep wool on a cotton base. Medium pile.
Approximate dimensions are 5.4 to 5.9x13.1feet / 165 to 180x400cm (+tiny tassels). Due to the handmade weaving work, the rug is not perfectly rectangle and slightly thiner on the purple ending. The rug has not been cut and comes in its original shape, you can tell from the designs that are finished.
This rug is obviously vintage, meaning that it's been made first for private use, not directly for the market. It will come with signs of wear. That said, it shows no obvious fixes or stains and is in great vintage condition!
