This modern-style Mrirt rug was made by weavers artisans in the area of Khenifra, Atlas Mountains, Morocco. Groups of women there still weave by hand on traditional, vertical looms to make these new rugs!
The colors are a mix of blue, grey-blue, cream, yellow, green, orange in an unregular striped pattern. Both ending show a different work on the design, one looks more organic which adds something special to the whole composition. A great modern rug overall!
This rug is made of premium quality, soft wool 100%. Medium pile and quite thick and heavy.
Approximate dimensions are 7x10.2feet (+4inches tassels on one ending) / 214x310cm (+10cm tassels on one ending).
This rug is newly-made, meaning that it will come to you all clean and in excellent condition! As it is handmade, it may show some irregularities but it really is in a great shape!
