This vintage Beni Mguild rug is just gorgeous! The perfect bohemian rug to bring warmth and character to your space!
The background color of this rug is a deep, wine, burgundy color but I guess you can tell from the pictures attached that it shows different shades. There is a main, large diamond in the center part of the rug, surrounded by smaller designs (hooked diamonds and crosses), all popping up through the pile, which adds a great texture to the rug! Lines, diamonds and crosses come in green, purple, black, yellow and pink. The rug has not been artificially faded and shows original colors.
Quite thick, made of high quality sheep wool 100%, high pile.
Approximate dimensions are 6.7x10.1feet / 204x310cm.
The rug has been cut, probably because it was too damaged on both endings to be kept like originally made. Both borders were very nicely fixed and you cannot tell from the right side of the rug.
This rug is real vintage, meaning that it was made first for a private use, not directly for the market. It will come with light signs of wear, which make it unique and charming. That said, it shows no stains or obvious fixes and is in beautiful condition! Again it really is a unique rug!
